I remember a lot of these from my childhood and it transported me right back to the simpler times in life with just one bite. The lady behind the counter was just as sweet as all these treats she was selling. It was our first time in and I was literally like a kid in a candy shop. (I tend to go nuts for sweets) My husband just held the tray as I placed treat after treat describing it to him and telling him how he has to try this on and that one. At the end of the day it didn't break the bank but it cost my waste line once again lol ”

“ This bakery is fantastic. A coworker brought a sheet cake for an event and it was great. I had to go there and see what else they had. We got the cornettas, guava and cheese turnover, cheesecake and dolce de leche. Everything was delicious. If you're on a diet, stay away because everything is amazing and you will bring home a lot. But if you're in the mood for some yummy baked goods, you gotta try this place. ”

“ BEST PLACE EVER FOR TRES LECHES!! This Mexican place looks like a hole-in-the-wall and doesn't attract much attention on the outside. But it's definitely a hidden gem in Hillsboro. I love their Tres Leches cake slices (all the flavors). I have also ordered multiple bachelorette cakes, birthday cakes and engagement party cakes. Every single time, they were able to deliver the cake design on time. The staff is very friendly with helping you decide the cake size. They also have a book of possible cake designs but are happy to do custom designs if you text them the image. Only thing to be wary of is the food coloring on their custom cakes leaves a lot of stain - on your teeth, on the carpet (if you drop it). But the taste is heavenly. In addition to their signature tres leches cake, they also have other pastries and you'll always have something new to try. I cannot seem to get bored of this place for the last 6 years and I am still a returning customer. Would highly recommend this bakery for your future cake needs! ”

“ HIDDEN GEM FOR MEXICAN SWEET BREAD Inexpensive and tasty, stop here if you're craving some Mexican sweet bread . The young woman helping us and checking us out sanitized her hands 5 times in the less than 10 minutes we were there getting sweet bread and a gallon of milk. There's also a sanitizing station as you enter and multiple hand sanitizer bottles next to the register. We know this place is uniquely good to get the traditional "Rosca de Reyes" (Three Kings Cake) for Día de Reyes (Epiphany Day) and not as expensive as others around. Compare $35 for a medium rosca versus $65 at other places where it doesn't taste this good. They also have the small one for $25. The BREAD is GOOD and although I have personally yet to find around here Mexican sweet bread that makes me reminisce about my younger years, this is the BEST Mexican Bakery in my opinion. SERVICE is excellent and you notice not only when they're nice to you but in how clean and organized they have their store.
